Part of LTLS’s mission is to engage and empower all types of learners through modeling, dialogue, and strategy. In order to fulfill this part of our mission, we work strategically with other organizations within our community to reach more families and help different types of learners.

Kussick College Coaching

Applying to college is hard and stressful. We believe the college application process should be less about stressful conversations and more about self-discovery. We understand there is no one-size-fits-all package which is why our goal is to support families of diverse means. LTLS partners with Kussick College Coaching to provide expertise and a broad range of support for students preparing for college.

Rainier Scholars

Our tutors work with students in the Rainier Scholars program –- 90% of whom come from households without a college degree –- to help them reach their academic goals.

Rainier Scholars cultivates the academic potential and leadership skills of hard-working, low-income students of color. By creating access to transformative educational opportunities and providing comprehensive support to scholars and families, they increase college graduation rates and empower new generations of leaders.

University of Washington Autism Center

The UW Autism Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families and individuals affected by autism spectrum disorders. The UW Autism Center provides clinical services for individuals with ASD and their families, runs workshops and professional training to increase public awareness and community knowledge, and conducts scientific research on the causes of ASD and effective behavioral and biological treatments.
